I'm not sure how many people are aware of this, but tribal casinos in the US now more than double the earnings of Nevada casinos.

There now are 411 Indian casinos in the United States, operated by 223 tribes in 28 states. More than half the 341 federally recognized Indian tribes in the continental United States operate casinos.

This just in from my buddy who just got back from Vegas:

It's been in the rumor mill for over a year, but I got as much confimation as I could from the desk management at the Bellagio. Starting the week after the super bowl, the entire poker operation is going to be moved into the slots area outside of the current poker room. That will be done while they redo the current poker room and also expand out into that same slots area. I was told that it will be 10 tables. I had plenty of time to press the desk staff for information while I waited *3 HOURS* to get on an 8/16 table.
