xmlfeednews find new poker players in your area

Yet another cool use of Syndirella web feeds: keeping track of new poker meetup members in your city.

I maintain a poker mailing list and am always looking for new members in Austin. I set up a web feed to notify me of new members to the meetup site.

If you want to do this, just do the following:

go to poker.meetup.com, find your city, and click on the "members" tab. You should have a URL in your browser like this: http://poker.meetup.com/members/27 (that's for Austin, your city will have a different number at the end).

Copy that URL.

In Syndirella, create a new web feed with this URL. Enter the following settings:

Title starts with:
Title ends with:
Description starts with:
Description ends with:

Hope that helps!
