gambling wpt unveils poker walk of fame

The World Poker Tour today opened their "Poker Walk of Fame" at the Commerce Casino yesterday. First honorees were Doyle Brunson, James Garner, and Gus Hansen. Link

Am I the only one who thinks Gus Hansen is a questionable first honoree? I guess he's there because he's been the big WPT winner, but if you really want to have a legitimate poker walk of fame, I can think of a dozen people who should easily be included before Gus Hansen.

Nevertheless, it's a great idea and will probably be the #2 poker status symbol behind Binion's Wall of Fame.

in my eyes, gus's style has modified the game. i've played him in a tourney and watched him on the tube and although the deck has beaten him, i have yet to see a player do it.

Yep, you're the only one who thinks that. Gus is the best!! He has great instincts, and is a blast to watch! And don't think I'm just saying that because I LOVE HIM either. ;)

Yes you are on your own. Gus is a great poker player. He is smart, aggressive and absolutely fearless! That makes him as dangerous as they come. He's kinda sexy too!
