Mort Olshan, founder of the original sports handicapping guide, The Gold Sheet, passed away this week at the age of 77. Link
The Gold Sheet is legendary in the sports handicapping world, and played a large role in sports betting becoming more legitimate and more of a science. There's a good selection of Olshan columns here.
If you read Card Player magazine, you probably have heard of The Gold Sheet. Its senior editor, Chuck Sippl, has a sports betting column in each issue.
